Welcome to the home of vintage inspired and sustainably made gifting, apparel and homewares. Banabae is always looking on the bright side. Designing ethical products with soul and a sprinkle of childhood nostalgia. Each product is designed to make you smile whilst also having positive impact on people and planet.

It all began when friends Alana and Jaz found themselves with new babes in arms, on maternity leave and totally uninspired by the baby linens on offer. Both retro lovers, bush and beach explorers and new mama's meant that the birth of Banabae was one that came oh so easily. They launched with a range of colourful, retro inspired and ethical swaddles. From there the range grew and expanded to eco conscious apparel and homewares that fill the family home with fun and positivity.

Both Alana and Jaz have spent decades in design, sourcing and production and knew Banabae must work within an ethical and sustainable framework. Sourcing fabrics and using print techniques that are the best for you and our environment. 

SUSTAINABILITY:

Our business was founded on a desire to do better by people and planet and our sustainability journey is an ever evolving one. Banabae use only natural fibres (both organic and non organic) that are breathable, ethical and toxin free. We digitally print our beautiful designs, eliminating harsh chemicals and wastage. We are particularly focused on the sustainable qualities of Hemp and recycled fibres and are actively sourcing to further incorporate these fabulous fibres into our range. Banabae work collaboratively with our suppliers and aim to eliminate single use plastics every step of the way. We believe in the power of positivity and that every business has an opportunity to make the world a better place.  In light of this, we are proud members of 1% for the planet. Donating 1% of our revenue to various environmental causes around the globe..
