Elly Oak

Kate started her design business called Elly Oak in 2008. It came about after she hand-painted a small collection of greeting cards that were well-received by a local art gallery, giving her the confidence to pursue this as a business idea. She then completed a course in screen printing in order to produce the cards more quickly, and from there the business grew to become a boutique stationery company offering bright and colourful greeting cards and tags.

 She has always enjoyed designing and making things, and hopes this love of all things hand made comes through in her work. From the hand embellished pom pom cards to the happy and whimsical designs, Elly Oak cards have a distinctive feel and each one aims to become little piece of art for the recipient.

Elly Oak products are all designed and made here in Australia and new designs are added regularly. She finds inspiration in all sorts of places, and can’t walk down the street without seeing ideas for greeting cards everywhere! She hopes this passion for life, good design, and the simple things comes through in each card, and inspires you too.
